Latest Comscore U.S. viewership report shows TFC ended first half of the year as most watched multi-cultural network

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, September 21, 2022 - TFC, the home of Filipino stories and flagship channel of leading global Filipino media and entertainment company ABS-CBN International, recently shared that Comscore’s U.S. viewership highlights for the period of June 27 to July 31, 2022 -- end of the first half of the year and going into the second half of 2022 -- showed that TFC was the most watched multi-cultural network. 

The report said that 249,000 households watched TFC for a combined total of 18 million hours during the referred period.  TFC captured 50 percent share of viewership, followed by GMA Pinoy with 26 percent, Sony with 15 percent, Aapka with 8%, and PHNA with 1 percent. (See pie chart below) 

The study also showed that there are 221 percent more TFC-only viewers compared to the number two network, which means advertising on TFC will already reach 81 percent of GMA viewers in the U.S. (See pie charts below) 

The study also revealed that TFC reached more households across all key dayparts than GMA. (See graphs below) 

Another key metric of TFC's domination among multi-cultural networks is that 49 of the period's Top 50 shows are from TFC. 

In March 2021, ABS-CBN International signed a multi-year agreement which named Comscore as TFC's first third-party measurement provider. Under the agreement, TFC gets access to Comscore's best-in-class national TV measurement to plan, transact and evaluate their audiences for programming analysis and in driving ad sales.
