SAN FRANCISCO, CA - May 12, 2025 - The University of the Philippines Alumni Association of San Francisco (UPAASF) proudly announces the UPstanding Pinoy Gala, a festive gathering of UP alumni and friends on May 31, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront.
This special community gathering brings together the vibrant Fil-Am community in the Bay Area to honor outstanding UP alumni, induct the newly elected UPAASF Board members, and introduce key programs and initiatives that will expand the organization’s impact in the community and beyond.
The evening will feature a keynote address from Consul General Neil Ferrer of the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, who will also be honored as one of this year’s UPstanding Pinoys for his distinguished public service and leadership.
Guests can expect a night of celebration, inspiration, and connection, featuring:

- Introduction of UPAASF’s 2025–2026 initiatives in education, mentorship, and cultural programs
