Ottawa, ON – February 2026 – The first and largest Filipino-Canadian Youth Leadership Conference, Pinoys on Parliament, returns for its 8th year on Parliament Hill
For the past seven years, Pinoys on Parliament (POP), hosted by Kabangka, has continuously inspired Filipino youth across Canada on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, ON. On the last weekend of February, POP brings together on average 300 delegates from as far north as the Yukon, to as far south as Ontario itself, to attend workshops, panels, and networking opportunities that prepare them to be leaders for Canada’s tomorrow.
For its 8th year, POP will open with a gala night hosted on Parliament Hill with a keynote speech from Carlos Bustamante, known widely as the long-time host of YTV and reporter for ET Canada. The weekend will have numerous professional development workshops for delegates, and a special evening performance featuring Jaime Ave, hosted by MYX Global, a long-time sponsor for POP.
While POP is now closed for registration, the public is invited to attend the Community Symposium on Sunday, February 22nd at the University of Ottawa. Goods from Filipino-owned vendors will be available to purchase, and community partners will be available to connect with.
