Daly City, CA — Daly City is thrilled to announce its 10th Annual "Kasayahan sa Daly City," a celebration of Filipino culture, heritage, and community. This electrifying event will take place on October 5, 2024 from 11:00a – 4:00p at Marchbank Park in Daly City, showcasing the rich traditions, music, dance, food, and arts of the Filipino community.
Event Highlights:
•Cultural and Music Performances: This year’s celebration will feature an incredible lineup of performers, showcasing a blend of traditional and contemporary Filipino culture. Headlining the event are the sensational R&B group DropNHarmony and the dynamic group Premiere. Also gracing the stage is the legendary turntablist DJ Qbert, known for his innovative scratching techniques, and a host of talented artists including RAD, MelvinSings!, MaddieB, Jolene Lozano, Tracy Cruz, Arriane Del, and the Kariktan Dance Company. Attendees can look forward to an exciting fusion of music and dance that captures the essence of the Filipino heritage, from traditional performances to modern pop and R&B.
•Food Vendors: Indulge in a wide array of Filipino delicacies from local vendors, featuring classic dishes such as Adobo, Lumpia, Lechon, and more. Taste the flavors that make Filipino cuisine unique and beloved worldwide.
•Beer Garden: Visit the Beer Garden to enjoy a refreshing selection of beers from Gilman Brewery while supporting a great cause. All proceeds from the Beer Garden will go towards Daly City's Build a Dream Scholarship Fund and the Daly City Public Library Associates, helping to provide educational opportunities and resources for the community.
•Community Market: Explore a vibrant market showcasing local businesses, handmade crafts, Filipino products, and more. Support small businesses and enjoy a unique shopping experience.
•Family Fun Zone: A special area dedicated to family-friendly activities, including crafts, face painting, a balloon artist and more, ensuring fun for attendees of all ages.
