The Texas tradition continues!

The Filipino Young Professionals of Houston (FYP) are pleased to announce that the Houston Filipino Street Festival is back on October 22, 2022 at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas. This much-anticipated event celebrates Filipino American culture, heritage and spirit through food, dance, live music, family-friendly activities and more!  With our special guest performer, the Concert King himself, Martin Nievera!

Since its inauguration in 2016, the festival grew to be one of the largest cultural festivals in Texas. And is now deemed the largest Filipino festival in the South. While we are saddened that we are not able to celebrate in person in 2020, we are excited to welcome in 2022 with another opportunity to preserve our mission of sharing the Filipino culture, creating new memories and connections with the community and celebrations of the power of our diversity.
The Houston Filipino Street Festival serves as an avenue to celebrate the Filipino culture, heritage and spirit with the community through dance, song, costume and cuisine.
 
THIS IS NOT A FOR-PROFIT EVENT. 100% of the proceeds from the festival go to funding charitable and philanthropic initiatives of the group and as monetary support to other nonprofits aligned with our mission.
 
About The Filipino Young Professionals of Houston:
The Filipino Young Professionals of Houston (“FYP”) is a Texas 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2009. It is comprised of individuals in and outside of Houston from diverse backgrounds (cultures, nationalities, professions, and ages) who are of Filipino heritage or who have an interest in the Philippines or Filipino culture.

Originally created as an avenue to promote the Filipino culture to young professionals in the city of Houston, FYP has evolved to engage, connect and empower professionals from all over the world!  FYP provides diverse opportunities for networking, professional development, community involvement, and public service. FYP also provides local and international scholarships to recognize and reward disadvantaged students who best represent its mission of fostering unity, culture, friendship, networking, and philanthropy.
