Tourist and Visit Visas
If you are coming to UAE without a residency or work entry permit, you will need to apply for a tourist or visit visa prior to your travel. Visa on arrival is not available to Filipinos.
You can apply for a tourist visa through licensed hotels and travel agencies. If you have a relative who is a resident of UAE, he can sponsor your visit visa for up to 90 days.
Application Requirements for Visit Visa
- Sponsor must be a UAE resident earning a monthly income of AED4,000 (or AED3,000) with accommodation)
- Application form from a typing center
- Sponsor’s employment contract attested by GDRFA
- Latest 3 months salary certificate of sponsor
- Tenancy contract
- Marriage certificate if sponsoring spouse or birth certificate if sponsoring a child (attested by UAE embassy in the Philippines and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE)
- Passport copy of visitor (validity of at least 6 months prior to travel)
- Passport size photo of visitor
- AED 1,000 refundable deposit
Tourist and visit visas can no longer be extended. You must exit the country and apply for a new visa to re-enter the UAE.
Tourist Visas can only be applied through licensed travel agencies and hotels while Visit Visas can be applied through your spouse or parent residing in the UAE.
