Kumu’s Singing Competition is Bringing Healthcare Workers From Livestreams to Las Vegas!

Manila, Philippines– Filipinos are surely known for their excellence in both the healthcare industry and the music scene. And now, Healthcareoke continues to bring these two worlds together in a second season of the livestream singing competition that celebrates the world-class talent of Filipino healthcare professionals. 

Healthcareoke is a Talent-Search Reality Competition by One Down hosted exclusively on Kumu to find the most talented healthcare worker based in the US. Introduced just earlier this year, Healthcareoke Season 1 showcased over 48 talented healthcare professionals and medical students in a weekly sing-off battle. The show also featured a panel of distinguished guest judges from within the Filipino American community, such as Jeremy Passion, Ruby Ibarra, Alyssa Rafael, Jules Aurora, Garth Garcia, Jennifer Paz, as well as Filipino music sensations like Gary Valenciano, Christian Bautista, Mo and R-Ji of P-pop group ALAMAT, and Jules Cruz and Joe Caigoy of the Filharmonic. 

Season 1 concluded with Audience Vote Winner, Jaja Arreola, and Grand Winner, Louis Arreola, taking home the grand prize of 2 round trip tickets from the US to the Philippines, care of Mango Tours. You can check out the touching crowning moment in this video.

Brand new episodes of Healthcareoke Season 2 air every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 PM PDT (Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 AM PH time) on Kumu via the @onedown channel. Healthcareoke is also thrilled to announce the return of Gary Valenciano, renowned Filipino musician and performer, as a judge for our highly-anticipated finale show. But that's not all – this season, the stakes are higher than ever before. Our talented healthcare professionals are gearing up to take center stage in the entertainment capital of the world – Las Vegas! The final episode will take place at a 2-night LIVE event in Las Vegas on June 9 and June 10, 2023, where one winner will be chosen through a panel of judges. The winners will once again win two round trip tickets to the Philippines. 

As our talented contestants prepare to showcase their vocal prowess and star power, Gary V and the rest of the expert panel will be there to witness every note, every move, and every electrifying performance. Get ready to witness the magic unfold, as our healthcare heroes show us that they're not just champions in the medical field, but on the stage too!

From Livestreams to Las Vegas
