FAQs: EVENT
Q: When and where is the event going to take place? 
A: The Barrio Fiesta sa London is a one-day paid event open to the public.  Everyone is invited to attend the fiesta on Sunday, 21st of July 2024 to participate in the festivities. 

The event will be held at the usual venue at Apps Court Farm near Hampton Court, Walton-on-Thames, KT12 2EG Surrey. 

Q: What can people expect to see or experience at the event? 
A: The Philippine Centre and TFC shall provide an entire day that features the best of Filipino food, cultural performances and live music from local musicians and Kapamilya stars flown from the Philippines. It aims to bring together and capture the unique qualities and spectacles of the Philippine’s fiesta.  

Q: What time should I be there? Is there a schedule of activities that I need to know? 
A: Organised stage performances start from 12.00nn when the Fiesta formally opens 

Schedule as follows: 
10:00am: Gates Open
12:00 – 2:00pm: Barrio Fiesta Grand Parade
2:00pm – 4:30pm: All-star Fiesta sa London!
4:30pm – 5:30pm: Sponsors’ Segment
5:30pm – 7:15pm: TFC’s Happy Hour
7:30pm – 8:30pm: Photo Op

FAQs: TICKETS
Q: How can I get tickets for the event? 
A: Buy ONLINE at https://bit.ly/BFLondon2024 (via SeeTickets)  


Q: I bought my General Admission tickets online. How do I get it? 
A: E-tickets will be sent to the email address used to purchase the ticket. You may either print the ticket, download your e-ticket as a PDF, download your e-ticket and save it on your Apple Wallet (for iPhone users only) or save it on your inbox. 

Q: What do I do with my General Admission ticket on the event day? 
A: Show the ticket you printed or saved on your phone for scanning at the entrance. Your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband at the day entrance only. Re-entry allowed for as long as the attendee has their wristband attached. Barrio Fiesta London will not replace lost or stolen tickets regardless of proof of purchase. Wristbands removed from the wrist or tampered with will be rendered invalid and will not be replaced.  

Q: I already bought a ticket but unable to attend. Can I get a refund? 
A: Tickets are non-refundable. In case the event is cancelled due to “Force Majeure”, ABS-CBN may either reschedule the TFC Event and honour the same Ticket purchased for the TFC Event at the rescheduled TFC Event or allow Ticket Holder to receive refund for the amount stated on the face of the ticket (or, for a discounted ticket, then the discounted ticket price paid), without interest or penalty, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions governing this Ticket and the Event. FAQs: EVENT ENTRY 
There will be a number of security initiatives at the Barrio Fiesta London 2024

  • Visible security presence on the perimeter and entrances from the festival on site build, and onwards, the new security coordinators will oversee and manage all relevant companies and any operational activity 

  • Please note everyone attending the event will be required to pass through security - these plans are in place to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable event 

Security measures are in place, which include security and sniffer dogs, at all entry gates. We appreciate your cooperation and patience when entering the festival. 
 

WHAT TO BRING

Only those with medical conditions (such as diabetes) are allowed to bring in their own food and drinks proportionate to their needs.  
 

WHAT NOT TO BRING  

  • Gazebos, parasols and the like are not permitted for safety reasons 
  • Suitcases, luggage and large bags (anything bigger than a canvas shopping bag / overarm bag) are prohibited 
  • Illegal substances – we operate a zero tolerance on drugs/legal highs and entry will be refused for those attempting to enter the event with any 
  • Glass (of any kind) no cans permitted into the arena  
  • Aerosol cans 
  • Laser equipment or pens 
  • Gas canisters 
  • Fireworks, flares, Chinese lanterns, klaxons, air horns or other similar items capable of making loud noise and any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon 
  • Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller blades 
  • Alcohol and hot food are not permitted to be brought into the arena 

 

FAQs: TRANSPORTATION
Q: How do I get to the venue? 
A: BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The nearest overground station is Hampton Court station through Southwest Trains which is on the Waterloo Line coming from Waterloo, Vauxhall, Clapham Junction, Earlsfield and Wimbledon.  FREE shuttle buses will be available to ferry attendees from Hampton Court Station to Apps Court Farm and vice versa. It will run every 30 minutes from 9:30am – 9:30pm. 

Please ensure that you check the Transport for London website (http://www.tfl.gov.uk/) for any engineering works before making any travel plans  

If travelling by bus, we advise for attendees to get off at Hampton Court station and get on the free shuttle buses at Hampton Court Station. 

Buses that stops around the Hampton Court are: 

111 - From Heathrow, Cranford, Hounslow, Hampton and Kingston 
216 - From Staines, Ashford, Sunbury, Hampton and Kingston 
411 - From West Molesey and Kingston 
R68 - From Kew, Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington and Hampton 
267 - From Hammersmith, Brentford, Isleworth, Twickenham, Fulwell and Hampton 

Other buses (Monday to Saturday only) 

461 - From Chertsey, St Peter's Hospital, Weybridge, Walton, West Molesey and Kingston 
513 - From Byfleet, Downside, Cobham, Oxshott, Esher and Kingston

BY CAR OR COACH:

Attendees who are travelling by car or coach can park at the HUGE parking onsite facility. Those coming from Hampton Court area will enter through Gate 1 and will have a designated carpark and exit. Those coming from Walton-in-Thames will enter through Gate 2 and will have a designated carpark and exit.  

Fees
Car and coach parking: £11 per day. Also available to be bought as an add-on when you purchase entry tickets at https://bit.ly/BFLondon2024 
Motorists displaying a valid BLUE Badge permit parking is FREE in the car parks where there is designated parking. 
No personal vehicles will be permitted other than in the car parks.

FAQs: PHOTO-OP and OTHER PROMOS 
Q: Are there opportunities to take photos or get autographs from guest celebrities? 
A: Given the huge number of attendees of the Barrio Fiesta sa London year-on-year, and the limited availability of the artists, the organizers can only allow paid Meet & Greet tickets to take group photo with the ABS-CBN Kapamilya Celebrity Guests. However, everyone is free to bring their own cameras to take photos of artists while performing on stage. 

Q: Are there other companies doing promotions at the event? 
A: Yes, there are various Filipino targeted companies doing their marketing/selling promotions at the event. They have their own promotions and offerings (e.g. freebies, raffles, etc) that attendees can enjoy. Only those with medical conditions are allowed to bring in their own food and drinks  
 

FAQs: OTHER EVENT MUST-KNOWS 
Q: Are there other food/drinks on sale at the event? 
A: We have a wide selection of caterers who sell Filipino and non-Filipino food/drinks around the venue. Please make sure you bring cash as some booths don’t accept card as payment.  

Q: Will there be booths offering depots for luggage? 
A: For those travelling from other parts of the UK/Europe who plan to bring their luggage at the event, you are strongly advised NOT to bring any suitcases or heavy items with you, as it will not be possible to leave/store these anywhere at the venue for Health and Safety / Security reasons.  

Q: In case of rain or too much heat of the sun, can I bring or set up any personal tents, parasol, shelters etc? Is there a shaded area to rest? 
A: Bringing or setting up of any such items is prohibited in the main arena of the Barrio fiesta. Any tents set up in the field will be taken down by Security for Health and Safety reasons, as well as for the comfort / welfare of other attendees.  

Please ensure that you also bring sufficient supplies of sun cream/ medication/ inhalers, etc as these will not be available on site.  

Q: Are there toilets, baby changing or first aid facilities on site? 
A: There is a vast number of portable toilets around the venue that are available for all fiesta goers. The venue also has a well-equipped first aid facility, with paramedics / nurses / ambulances on site in case of any emergencies. 

Q: Will there be ATMs onsite? 
A: No, we will not provide ATMs onsite so please bring enough cash throughout the Barrio Fiesta.  
A: ATMs are available at Hampton Court and at a local Tesco in Hurst Road 

Q: How many attendees are expected this year? 
A: This year is big for both the Barrio Fiesta and TFC respectively thus we expect that the attendance will be high. We are implementing a new layout for both the carparks and the main arena which will ensure speedy internal traffic flow. The venue will still offer other amenities such as quad biking, fishing and caravan camping. Also, Hampton Court and Kingston-Upon-Thames offer tourist attractions that fiesta-goers can visit in between the Barrio Fiesta.

Q: What are the wristbands being handed out to children and other vulnerable persons for? 
A: These are to write a contact mobile number in case they go missing and when found we are able to contact a relative or carer.
