On the 75th year of Canadian and Philippine friendship, cinephiles will gather to celebrate Filipinos in cinema and experience the beauty of storytelling on the silver screen at the SINÉ FILM FEST. The festival takes place at the prestigious Hotel X in Toronto on April 12-14, 2024. 

SINÉ FILM FEST aims to showcase carefully selected movies that highlight the Filipino film industry and its contribution to the world of cinema. Through this festival, attendees will have the chance to immerse themselves in a diverse range of films that captivate and inspire. 

One of the highlights of the festival is the 48-hour Siné Challenge that is open to participants of Filipino descent worldwide who can unleash their creativity and create their own short film within a limited time frame. This thrilling challenge offers aspiring filmmakers an opportunity to showcase their talent and passion for storytelling. 

In addition to the film screenings and challenges, SINÉ FILM FEST will also host educational workshops in partnership with the Toronto Film School.
