My Dear Heart told the story of Heart, a little girl who grew up under the care of Jude (Zanjoe) and Clara (Bela). She has a happy disposition despite being poor and having a fatal cardiovascular disease, which eventually led her to comatose.
While in coma, Heart’s soul wandered around and watched over her family. There’s only one person who can see her invisible soul, and that is Doctor Margaret (Coney Reyes), an egoistic, vengeful, and money-hungry heart surgeon. As they embarked on a heartwarming journey, Heart also learned that Doctor Margaret is her granddaughter.
Years back, Doctor Margaret’s daughter Gia (Ria Atayde) got pregnant with then-boyfriend Jude. To protect Gia’s future, Doctor Margaret sent the child away. The baby ended up under Jude’s care, unaware that Heart is actually his own. Gia, on the other hand, was made to believe that her newborn died.
Heart’s big love was the common thread that held everyone together. In the end, forgiveness and love prevailed.
