Gigi De Lana and The Gigi Vibes: Domination tour to rock this March in Manila and the Middle East

DUBAI, UAE, February 28, 2022 - Since grabbing national attention as an unforgettable finalist of the popular Philippine amateur singing competition segment, Tawag ng Tanghalan (Call of the Stage) on ABS-CBN's "It's Showtime", in 2016, Filipina singer-songwriter-actress Gigi De Lana's star has kept shining brighter and brighter.  

A Rise Artist Studio and Star Magic talent, De Lana lent her voice to Nasa'yo Ako, the opening theme song of the drama series, "Viral Scandal", which is shown worldwide on TFC. She dropped her first single last year, Sakalam -- slang for malakas, meaning strong -- which immediately became Spotify Philippines' top song in the Fresh Finds playlist. She co-starred with premier Filipino leading man Gerald Anderson in the iQiyi original series, "Hello, Heart" where she also sang the theme song, Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita.  Following a highly successful international debut via her live concert participation in "1MX in Dubai" music festival back in December, De Lana released her self-titled album in the same month with her band, The Gigi Vibes, composed of Jon Cruz (musical director, keyboard), Jake Manalo (bass), Julius Traqueña (guitar), and Romeo Marquez (drums). She also held a virtual concert, "Gigi De Lana: Holiday Vibes", on YouTube Music Night.

So, what's next for this fast-rising Filipina artist whose videos on TikTok have already amassed over 1.5 billion views?   Her first full live on-ground concert tour aptly called, "Gigi De Lana and The Gigi Vibes: Domination".

The concert tour kicks off on March 5 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila which is co-producing the concert with ABS-CBN Events. 

After Manila, De Lana and The Gigi Vibes fly to the Middle East for a series of shows: 

• Dubai - March 12 at the Jubilee Stage of Dubai's EXPO 2020, in partnership with the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI);
• Abu Dhabi - March 18 at the National Theatre of Abu Dhabi with guest artist, Sam Concepcion;
• Bahrain - March 25 at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain, also with guest, Sam Concepcion. This is in partnership with the Filipino Club Bahrain.
