Two years ago, ABS-CBN, a leading Filipino media and entertainment company, livestreamed through iWantTFC "Ang Huling El Bimbo", the historic reunion concert of Eraserheads. Over 75,000 fans packed the SDMC Festival grounds in Metro Manila to see the band perform live in the Philippines for the final time.

However, at the end of the the three-hour spectacle, Ely Buendia (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Marcus Adoro (lead guitar), Buddy Zabala (bass) and Raimund Marasigan (drums) announced that while the concert was their last gig in the Philippines as a band, they are going to bring "Ang Huling El Bimbo" on a world tour.
