On behalf of all of us at PhilDev, thank you for being part of the inaugural US-Philippines Artificial Intelligence Summit held this past Friday at Stanford University.
This milestone event would not have been possible without the incredible partnership of our co-hosts, Philippine Artificial Intelligence Retreat (PAIR) and Stanford US-Asia Technology Management Center, and the collaborative spirit of everyone who helped bring it to life.
Together, we convened a powerful and vibrant group of builders and thought leaders who believe in shaping the future, with Filipinos at the table! It was an energizing moment for our global STEM community and a meaningful step toward greater visibility, connection, and leadership. Participants marvelled at the powerhouse line-up of speakers we presented and the diverse and inclusive audience the event gathered.
In his fireside chat, Rey Banatao said, “Fifteen years ago, I was helping out behind the scenes at PhilDev workshops. To now witness a new generation of Filipino entrepreneurs standing on stage, sharing their journeys, and inspiring those just starting out—that’s full circle. This is the legacy my dad dreamed of. I know Dado would be incredibly proud.”
At PhilDev, we believe that Filipinos belong at the forefront of innovation, not just as participants, but as contributors and leaders. This summit is part of our renewed commitment to support Filipino talent in STEM across the Philippines and the diaspora.
