Kung gano'n, don't forget these pointers--Dubai is considered a modern and liberal country in the Middle East but it still very much values its culture and traditions.
Dress modestly, lalo in public!
Both men and women are expected to dress modestly in Dubai. Swimwear is acceptable if you are at the beach or swimming pool BUT clothing should still be conservative--no bikinis and topless-style swimsuits.
Always use your right hand when accepting food and drinks.
Tandaan--laging gamitin ang kanang kamay kapag tumatanggap ng food and drinks. Ganito rin sa pakikipag-shake hands. Men are allowed to shake hands with other men, but should not shake a woman's hand unless she offers her hand first.
Don't point with your fingers! Use your whole hand instead.
Also, don't point the soles of your feet/shoes towards someone kapag naka-upo.
Men are allowed to hold hands and kiss on the cheek in public as a sign of brotherly affection, and is not frowned upon in their culture.
